About

I grew up and have worked in Pennsylvania all my life. Have been married to a wonderful woman for over 20 years and have three teenage children that I am very proud of. Hobbies include hunting, fishing, woodworking and as my wife says, "fixing things that are not broken". Grew up on a part-time beef farm in the Endless Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Previous professional experience has included managing financial operations of a retail business, public accounting, volunteer treasurer positions and even teaching a couple introductory accounting courses at the college level. The retail store operation quadrupled in size during my tenure exceeding $100 million in sales and over 750 employees. As a Senior Manager in Audit and Accounting Services, I was responsible for overseeing the compilations, reviews, audits and tax services a varied client base including Continuing Care Retirement Communities, Private Foundations, construction contractors, manufacturers, grocery stores and gas stations.

Undergraduate accounting degree from Grove City College a small Christian College in western Pennsylvania. I enjoy speaking of my experience there and recommend that everyone send their children to this great institution. Continued schooling while working in public accounting and secured a Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA) from the Pennsylvania State University (Penn State). Continue to take continuing professional education courses in various fields. However, most of my worthwhile knowledge has been gained serving businesses and organizations.
